To activate your Rideet, install it in your bike and download the Rideet App in the app store of your smartphone.
If you already have an account, login. Otherwise, create a new account in the initial page.
If this is your first Rideet, you will be prompted to follow the activation process. It lasts few seconds.
If you already have an active Rideet, you can add and activate the new one in the section Settings > Garage.
Rideet is always connected to the network, so you will automatically get in the app all the summary data of your trips and performances, such as starting point, destination, duration, lenght, average and maximum speed, maximum lean angle, and much more.
To download detailed data (turn by turn telemetry, satellite coordinates of every point in your route) you just need to go in Trips > Trips Detail > Performances and press the Sync button.
You will then be guided in the short procedure to download the detailed data on your smartphone.
No, there is no need for an additional SIM card.
Rideet has its own data connection, in most of the countries all over the world.
In addition, we have agreements in place with many network operators, so that according to your position Rideet connects always to the one with the best signal.
Rideet can connect to the network in the following countries:
Bosnia and Herzegovina
French Guiana / St Barthelemy / St. Martin / French Antilles / Guadeloupe / Martinique
India MCC 405
Israel & Palestine
Mayotte / Reunion
In any case, the country needs to have an active GSM/GPRS network infrastructure.
To have data connectivity with your Rideet, and use its cloud features, a monthly subscription is needed.
Every new user gets one solar year of connectivity for free, since the first installation in the bike.
When the first year is over, the subscription cost is 4,90€ per month. You can manage your subscription directly in the Rideet app (Settings > Connectivity).
Subscription renew can be paused or canceled anytime: your subscription will be valid till the last day of validity in place before this operation.
Suspending or canceling your subscription doesn not delete any of your data: they will be in your cloud account and on your smartphone, waiting for a possible reactivation.
